Chelsea: I’m a native Oregonian who enjoys yoga, hiking, camping, reading and nature crafting. I have a degree in Interior design and a minor in sustainability. I have been a part of Green Grove for almost three years as an associate member and fell in love with the setting, after getting to know the community I found we shared many common interests. Having a minor in sustainability I completely understood why Green Grove was pursuing the path of earth conscious living and am excited to call ‘Green Grove’ home.

Ulysses: I grew up working on cars in the garage with my dad and have always been interested in how things work. I am pursuing a hands-on career as carpenter with a desire to step into a leadership role and guide teams through challenging projects. In my personal time I enjoy hitting the trails by foot, in my off roading truck or on an ATV. Camping and relaxing outdoors with the family and going to the occasional metal concert with friends is how I spend most weekends. I grew up in a large, yet tight knit family and cohousing seemed to have all the similar characteristics and benefits. Like a big family, everyone in our community personally knows, cares for, and supports each other. We share communal spaces, amenities, equipment, stories, and most importantly common values. With a diverse group of people there is a collective pool of knowledge and experiences that provides opportunities for personal learning, growth, and advancement of social and professional skills. Green Grove feels like a second family.
