Green Grove Cohousing makes decisions using a dynamic governance system based on consent, called Sociocracy. We organize our governance through interest groups called Circles that each have a specific aim and domain.

Each Circle makes policy decisions and recommendations to the broader community using Consent Rounds. Consent is reached when no members of the Circle objects to the proposal. Each Circle elects a Leader, Facilitator and Note-taker to help the Circle run smoothly.
