Kelly is a retired nurse after 43 years of service. She moved to Oregon in 1976 with a boyfriend and Oregon has been her home for most of 45 years. She has  an awesome Golden-Doodle pup, Magnolia Mae, the sole canine at Green Grove and the love of her life. Her life has evolved around a variety of dogs, houses, and nursing jobs, and travel experiences.

Her hobbies are gardening, cooking, yoga, and walking and just being in the great outdoors. She became a Master Gardener 4 years ago after she retired and is active with the Yamhill Co. Master Gardeners. She volunteers as much as she can and is a SMART reader, works at the Homeward Bound spay/neuter clinic in McMinnville as well as still active with the YCPHD. She is also very passionate about good end-of-life care and was very active with EOLCOR. She likes to be active and does not handle sitting for long periods of time.

She learned of Green Grove from a tip from a friend, and since then, it just seems like it has been serendipitous! She is  pleased with the designing and the forever building of her house in this amazing community! She so enjoys the happy hours, potlucks, yoga, and community events at GG, and is working towards helping to make this community a shining star in the world of co-housing. She is continually getting to know all of the members and learning their commonalities and sharing her life and passions with the community.
