Chris grew up in Alaska and thought computers were pretty cool, so he got a computer science degree and eventually moved to Portland to write software.

Chris likes technology and making things, so he has a hundred unfinished electronics projects and a couple of 3D printers and CNC devices that he uses to make more tools that make more tools (parts for the CNC were printed on the 3D printer). He likes playing video games of all kinds, board games of most, and pen-and-paper RPGs of some.

Jess is a native Oregonian who, after checking Hawaii off the list in 2017, has visited all fifty states. As much as she loves road trips and international adventures, however, coming home to Oregon is one of her favorite parts of traveling.

After spending some time as a music major, a computer science major, and an accidental math minor, Jess ended up earning a degree in chemistry from PSU and went on to work in organic research labs. Most recently, she’s been focusing her creative energies on writing fiction and hopes to someday publish a novel. She's looking forward to all the new opportunities to trade skills and knowledge with other members of the Green Grove community.
